Hey Grendel, have you ever heard of the carbon cycle?
No I didn't think so

Yes I think I first studied it in Primary School....  Grin

Then you would understand that showing just the sources of greenhouse gasses is dishonest and inaccurate propaganda.
The important thing is that human emissions are in addition to the norrnal and natural carbon cycle.

Funny how you accuse the ABC of being dishonest due to some cosmetic issue (maybe you should actually read the articles instead) but you are quite happy to post you own dishonest and inaccurate graphs.

You mean like human breathing? Have they quantified natural peat and coal fires? Or are they lumped with "human emissions"?

How big is the "normal and natural" carbon cycle? When earth had a CO2 concentration of 2200ppm, I assume it was in balance. And now it can't even cope with a an increase of about 130ppm? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Really....  you mean like the Hockey Stick graph or the modelling that was modified?  Sorry you need more than just your opinion to back that up.
post some proof eh....

You like lying about people who prove how stupid your belief is don't you.

Factoid....  during the last Ice Age CO2 levels were 10 times higher than they are today.

Factoid... according to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, the polar bear population stands between 20 and 31,000, the highest it has been for the past 50 years.

While global emissions of heat-trapping pollution appear to be stabilizing, they have not shown any signs of decreasing, which would be necessary to slow climate change. Rising temperatures are worsening floods, storms and wildfires around the world.

“Right now, when you sum the actions of all countries, even under the Paris agreement, it’s insufficient to mitigate dangerous, human-caused climate change,” said Matto Mildenberger, a political scientist at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

“Different countries move forward on climate issues with their own rhythm in response to domestic political factors,” Mildenberger said. “It’s naive to think that pro-climate forces will be in power across the world at the same time.”

Here’s a trip around the world, assessing how pro-climate and anti-climate forces are faring in key nations and regions and showing how recent developments are affecting the languishing fight against global warming.

No that is not a "factoid" it is actually completely wrong

Only if you assume the numbers are closer to 31,000. The truth is that polar bear populations are extremely difficult to calculate so we don't really know what their numbers are doing. But it is certainly not a "factoid" as you claim.

But certainly a long way from threat of extinction as proposed by the alarmist element. Wink

Hey...  looky, looky....

Not CO2 which is an odourless colourless gas

Again the media makes people think taxing the free air we breath will get rid of those chimney stacks.

Almost without fail the ABC, as background to every climate change story, (and they have many), we have smoking stacks...  how dishonest of them pushing their agenda in that way.

Are you saying that those stacks don't have any CO2 coming out of them?
If not, how can you tell given that you have already stated that CO2 is odourless and colourless?

Most of what's coming out of those stacks in the photo is steam, water vapour condensing when its rapidly cooled by the atmosphere, there maybe some traces of CO2 but the majority is steam.

BTW don't you know that CO2 is odourless and colourless.

In other words invisible to the naked eye.

Didn't you know that CO2 is also weightless ???
Cheesy

Yep. Now tell us about the greening of the planet due to CO2. See CSIRO. Tell us what that does for the carbon cycle.

You do know what a cycle is? Or perhaps more relevantly what cycles are? Cycles on different time scales?

You should provide a link to back up your shite  Cheesy Cheesy

Glad I'm not a polar bear.

Also glad I won't be around in 50 years. Sad
