It has been shown that GHGs reflect IR back to earth, warming it. H2O is one such GHG.

Yeah, that paper is vital, showing everything we already knew.

Actually no. It has been shown theoretically, in the lab, that GHG's reflect/refract inside the GHG's. Where they go when re-emitted is not ascertainable as they are predicted to go in ALL directions. It is the supposed TRAPPING of the CO2 that causes the supposed warming.

The redirection of IR back to the surface has been shown. You are talking bollocks again.

...

Yes, a molecule of GHG absorbs a photon of IR. It becomes excited, spinning/vibrating more rapidly. But it can’t hold onto the photon for long and re-emits it along one of the dipoles in the molecule. Because the molecule spins the IR photon could be emitted down as likely as being emitted up.

So the photon does move within a GHG molecule, one dipole to another but on its way out of the molecule. I have shown this.

And because of this redirection of IR less escapes the surface of the earth:

Oh dear, disagreeing with your side of climate science again.

"Thus  the  heat  radia-tion emitted by the surface, about 96Wm−2, is  157Wm−2  greater  than  the  239Wm−2  leaving  the  top  of  the  atmosphere  (equal  to  the  solar radiation absorbed) – this is a measure of ‘greenhouse  trapping’."

http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/wea.2072/pdf

dated 2013

"the greenhouse effect has been widely used to describe the trapping of excess heat by the rising concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The carbon dioxide strongly absorbs infrared and does not allow as much of it to escape into space."

You are just saying what I say in a different way. Thanks for proving that the greenhouse effect is causing global warming.

Greenhouse trapping, redirecting IR back to the surface:

Less leaving the top of the atmosphere are CO2 concentration grows:

Yeah, it has been shown by measurement.

That less radiation than leaves the surface leaves the top of the atmosphere because some gets redirected back to the surface.

Honestly YOU are a waste of time and effort.
The LIDAR studies of CO2 show that it radiates back out into space I posted a quote for you...  don't you read anything anyone posted ?
Idiot!!!

What does LIDAR have to do with anything?

CO2 sends some IR back to the surface and that is that.

This diagram shows less and less IR reaches space as GHG concentrations rise:

...

LIDAR:
Quote:
LIDAR, which stands for Light Detection and Ranging, is a remote sensing method that uses light in the form of a pulsed laser to measure ranges (variable distances) to the Earth. These light pulses—combined with other data recorded by the airborne system— generate precise, three-dimensional information about the shape of the Earth and its surface characteristics.

A LIDAR instrument principally consists of a laser, a scanner, and a specialized GPS receiver. Airplanes and helicopters are the most commonly used platforms for acquiring LIDAR data over broad areas. Two types of LIDAR are topographic and bathymetric. Topographic LIDAR typically uses a near-infrared laser to map the land, while bathymetric lidar uses water-penetrating green light to also measure seafloor and riverbed elevations.

You have the measurements for this re-emitted downward IR?
Link please.

Nope. According to you they show less IR up. Try again with down.

No, Harries showed less IR reached space as GHG concentrations increased. Not surprisingly, Feldman et al showed more IR came back down to the surface.

You know this, why bullshit?
