Another stupid YouTube.

Go away and come back when you have a scientific paper to quote.

Evolution accounts for most of what we see in nature but not all of it.

I was watching a doco recently in which they showed the life-cycle of Botflies.

All very evolutionary until it got to the part where they showed the larvae of botflies have several rows of bristles on its body that are angled backwards so that you can't pull them out of where they are lodged in your skin.

That design took intelligence, thought, and planning.

And then there was a very deep ocean fish with a glowing fishing rod on its head to attract prey. 'Evolution'? Hardly.

It takes genius to come up with a solution for survival in this way.

You just have no conception of geologic time, ’Erbert.

There are 58 pages in Environment. Pass.

Not even for your delusions. Wink

Actually, doofus, I posted something from a US ag report and it quoted the warm winter and early spring temperatures.

Well doofus, with your propensity to misread things, I would like confirmation. Wink

A long way from 40ºF above normal. Wink

But....

Why are scientists such liars???

why do scientists get the sack when they go against the flow and prove previous scientists wrong??

Telling the Truth??

with their more advanced technology and education??

OK ..  god knows why but i actually watched that youtube from start to finish. Let me tell you it was a hoot and a half.

Worst. Science. Ever.

The scientist who first identified T-rex soft tissue and was interviewed, although edited with extreme bias, in this video, Mary Schweitzer, went on to unravel just how soft tissue was found in millions of year old bones.

And found out why.

This video is simply the worst. science. ever.

But, what have we come to expect from the Mechanic?

Oh dear Oh dear. Surely in 21st century we don't still have creationists? Well they would be rightards because they aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

Botflies - so the larvae with backward facing bristles have a greater chance of surviving and passing on their genes. Larvae with forward facing bristles get pulled out and don't pass on their genes. That is exactly how natural selection works

Bio-luminescence is quite common in sea creatures. The fact that one of them uses it to attract prey means that it gets more to eat and is more likely to pass it's genes on to the next generation. Once again this is natural selection 101.

Those who believe in "Intelligent design" might like to ponder the life cycle of a jewel wasp (also known as an emerald wasp) which uses a cockroach to reproduce.

It stings the cockroach in a specific area of the brain which turns it into a zombie. It then leads the cockroach back to its nest and lays an egg on it. The larvae then hatches and over a period of eight days, consumes the cockroach's internal organs in an order which maximizes the likelihood that the cockroach will stay alive. This is to keep the cockroach fresh.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_cockroach_wasp

Why would an "intelligent design" create a life cycle that is so incredibly cruel?
Many atheists regard this as evidence that God doesn't exist.

I'm not so sure the Mechanic believes in intelligent design, Barnacle, but it's something to aspire to, I guess.

but then again..

what can we expect from a nincompoop who still believes in flat Earth, global warming and that we came from monkey's...
