They got the wiring right though, didn't they?  Grin Grin

Lack of funds is what produces these chaotic scenarios.

Simply put, there is an enormous caste division in Asia between people who do physical work and those who dont. We dont see many of the former here as immigrants. 5000 years of an entrenched caste system has made the middle and upper caste Indians pathetically weak. Marrying their cousins hasnt helped, they are easily the weakest race physically on this planet, many other Asian races arent far behind.

Nah, its lack of forward thinking. Ive seen it in person many times in Asia. Half a billion people in India dont have access to a toilet , think about that statistic.

Never seen that happen among TIB's Family.  What I have seen is that a relation of a non blood relation (ie an in-law connection) have married.

Gee, you've described the hideous neighbours who have recently moved in next to me.  Herbie......interested in a swap???????  The cats and chickens could form part of the package deal.....

You have my deepest sympathy for having the wrong sort of people move in as neighbours of yours. I'm enjoying a rare period in my 26 years at this same address in that I don't have a single bad neighbour at the moment.

As for swapping ... no can do. If I won a million dollars I wouldn't move from this place at my age. A few years back I thought of becoming a permanent 'resident' on an international cruise ship just like quite a few hundred retirees do, but the moment passed, and here I am.

Yes im sure. And they all have sit down flush toilets. And theres no people sleeping or defecating in the streets. So little birth defects because of no cousin marriages and everything runs so well.

You're not cranky at Aquascoot, Herbie?

He said you have no vindictiveness or hatred.

I mean, really.

That's because they climb up the poles to steal the copper wiring ... with shocking consequences.

Asians and Indians think of toilet hygiene a lot differently than we do in the civilised West, and that's why before the Olympics held in Peking the government ordered an army of workers to bring their public toilets up to Western standards. It took weeks of hard work to get rid of the smells, the stains, the holes in the bare concrete floors, and most of all the plagues of Toilet Insects which when deep-fried in sizzling hot oil and shish-kebabed are a local delicacy throughout China.

(I highly recommend the toilet cockroaches and dung beetles that are decoratively shish-kebabed alternately and then lightly flambéd over a pan of simmering rice wine, and then dipped in Black Bean Sauce sprinkled with sesame seeds and chopped garlic. To die for. For authenticity and extra flavour insist with the vendor that these must be genuine Public Toilet insects freshly gathered and not the bland, flavourless ordinary household insects they try to cheat the tourists with).
