yeah, Asians are great academics, good doctors, accountants etc. But other stuff they arent so good at, especially the trades. The Indians are also the weakest race physically along with the Chinese due to their cultural aversion to physical labour.

Thanks Cods, you've opened up an opportunity for me to vent here!!!!!

Regrettably, no "other" side of my house. It's a single fronted Victorian home ......deep in length, but narrow in frontage.

A villa unit block of three runs along my side fenceline. Units 2 &3 are privately owned......great neighbours!!!

Unit 1 is owned by DHS and in the 11 years I've been here, tenants appeared to have been selected on the basis that they'd "fit in well" with close neighbour proximity.....transitional housing whilst a more permanent dwelling was sought by the authorities.....previous family (refugee mum and 3 young children) was there for 3 years and like other families before them, great neighbours.

Guess my luck had to run out sooner or later. Apparently this new lot are already in trouble with the Body Corporate...don't know the reason.

Seems they are also in trouble with the Social Housing Authority. The adult male and female abused me ..."you f..ing bitch you almost got us kicked out of here because you complained about the kids and the noise". I was gobsmacked, white with rage at the accusation, but maintained self control. "It wasn't me, not my style, I'd never do that without telling you beforehand, I have no idea who made the complaint".

They said they didn't believe me. Nothing positive would have been achieved by my explaining further, so I continued my gardening and they waddled off inside muttering expletives along the way.

I've donned my "legal" hat in the form of WIDE research on community housing tenants' obligations as neighbours, but hopefully they are already in sufficient trouble to render any official action on my part unnecessary. Fingers crossed they'll be moved on pretty swiftly.

thats sad and when children are involved ugly!..

what is it with some folks they seem to walk roughshod over everyone...and its amazing how housing depts have to find them places to live...its pretty disgusting..

if you live alone Alinta steer well clear of them...once they know you are vulnerable they could enjoy making life miserable..

it doesnt look as if they will last long so chin up!

Despite how I may come across on this forum, in RL I am VERY assertive and have since told them in no uncertain terms I will not tolerate ANY further bullying and exploitation of myself as a female living alone.
They are steering well clear of all neighbours. I had no issue with them myself until they accused me of something I had not done.

Yes, the parents set a lousy example for the kids. Sad situation as I used to chat with the two older ones about school, etc....they are ok.

Not entirely true. My father's full-time chauffeur/motor mechanic could take the engine apart and put it back together again.

Asians are outstanding at physical labour when that's all that's available to them because of lack of education. They can put up a tall building with bamboo for scaffolding in a quarter of the time it takes for our lot to complete the job.

They've built enormous dams all over China to supply their irrigation and electricity needs.

Indians are also extremely good workers.

They could deliver the site a couple of trucks and fork-lifts to do the job, codsey ... with only a very small number of workers to do the job, but (thank God) - the powers-that-be decided instead to employ whole teams of men and women to do the work and give them a wage.

Indians are good workers, well disciplined, and smart.
