It was Lord Haw Haw. To go with Sprinty’s oh so devastating insult, LHH drank heavily in the last few weeks of the Third Reich. Then paid for his treachery with his life.

I don’t know if Rommel ever used the expression but the Tobruk garrison gave him the squirts literally and figuratively.
