Never been anywhere near that part of Sydney where I've been but once.

I had the answer doing a simple google image search within 30 seconds, and before I read your post. Google image ~ Dawn Fraser Baths Balmain.

Edit: I suppose I better clarify that for the cretins. I searched google image for New South Wales tidal swimming pools.

Never swum there myself but used to go skurfing right past it as a kid.

And the Bridge was my fav place, total shittthole but live music and open 24hrs. Been there at 630am after work once or twice.
