If Malcolm Turnbull has anything resembling a policy agenda for 2017 it's high time he told us about it.

Parliament is set to return in just over a fortnight but why are they even bothering? There's almost nothing for MPs to do. The government's legislative list has gone from threadbare to barely there.

There are Turnbull's deeply unpopular company tax cuts, which have no chance of passing a hostile Senate without major overhaul.

Beyond that?

Crickets chirping. Tumbleweeds tumbling.

Of course conservative governments by their very nature do less than progressive ones - but this is  embarrassing.

it was all you screaming lefty wankers that wanted Turnbull and been screaming for his ascension to the top job for years. The rest of us could have told you long ago he was not up to the job but no... you had to keep yelling.

Well, you got what you wanted so shut up and put up.

You might not have liked Abbott, but you knew what he stood for. He was decisive and a true leader. Turnbull has no apparent opinions on any topic and he resembles Rudd in far too many ways. And with Turnbull, the Libs are doomed to heavy defeat. Might as well bring back Abbott and actually get a true Liberal government for the next 2.5 years.

It's hardly code, you buffoon. I've openly stated my approval of Abbott for many years.
