Report: Anti-Trump Activists Plotting to Disrupt Inaugural Events With Butyric Acid, Stink Bombs

January 17, 2017

A video released Jan. 16 by Project Veritas shows activists talking about using butyric acid to potentially disrupt an event planned around President-elect Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.

Update:  According to the Washingtonian, “But the Antifascist Coalition says it knew the cameraman in the video was an actor in O’Keefe’s Project Veritas group, and concocted a phony plan in order to throw him off. It may have worked more effectively than the Antifascist Coalition anticipated, as O’Keefe’s video is being reported by Breitbart, the Drudge Report, and other Trump-friendly outlets as proof that left-wing protesters plan to engage in “criminal activities” to disrupt the inauguration and its associated events.”

Specifically, the D.C. Anti-Fascist Coalition, which is part of the anti-Trump inauguration group called #DisruptJ20, wants to force the cancellation of the DeploraBall—a sold-out gathering of Trump supporters slated for Jan. 19 at the National Press Building. Organizers of the coalition were captured discussing the plans on video by Project Veritas, the brainchild of controversial conservative firebrand James O’Keefe.

“I was thinking of things that would ruin their evening, ruin their outfits, and otherwise make it impossible to continue with their plans. So they get nothing accomplished,” says a man identified in the video as Scott Green, the leader of the D.C. Anti-Fascist Coalition.

Another man, identified as Luke Kuhn, described their potential plans. “If you had a pint of butyric acid, I don’t care how big the building is, it is closing,” he says in the clip, which was captured in a sit-down meeting at the Comet Ping Pong pizza restaurant in Washington.

Butyric acid is commonly used to produce stink bombs. If the plan to use the substance to disrupt the event fails, the alleged activists say they would try to trigger the sprinkler system.

Green then responds: “And this stuff is very efficient. It’s very, very smelly, and it lasts a long time.”

“I’m trying to think through how to get all the sprinklers to go off at once,” a man identified as Colin Dunn says. Furthermore, he says he wants to ensure it is “made to look like an accident.”

Another activist in the video can be heard issuing tacit threats to the District of Columbia city government.

He says: “The message has to be, we do not recognize the city government either. If you try to close us down, we will look for your house, we will burn it. We will physically fight the police if they try to steal one of our places. We will go to war and you will lose.”

But in a Jan. 16 post on its website, #DisruptJ20 dismissed the Project Veritas video and suggested that O’Keefe used “sad aspiring actors to go undercover to get video of leftists in order to chop up the film to make up a news story. Hilariously enough, we have nothing to hide.” It, however, did not refute that the men in the video were associated with #DisruptJ20 and the D.C. Anti-Fascist Coalition.

According to the #DisruptJ20 event website, they’re seeking to “protest the fascist alt-right ‘DeploraBall'” because activists “absolutely” won’t let “white supremacists, rape-culture sexists, and fascists celebrate hate in our city.”

Those attending the DeploraBall include conservative commentators Lauren Southern, Milo Yiannopoulis, and Mike Cernovich.

Brutal Chicago kidnap and torture was one of many instances of leftist violence since November

At least 24 acts of anti-Trump rage since election

The kidnapping and brutal torture in Chicago last week of a disabled young white man by a gang of Trump-hating black youths was a reminder that anti-Trump violence is alive and well in America post-presidential election.

And no matter what the Left may tell you, the attack is not an isolated incident. Since the election, there has been at least one anti-Trump-related murder, plenty of violence against individuals, and rioting that has caused property damage...

...It is both fascinating and depressing that in the Left’s alternate universe, Pepe the Trump-loving cartoon frog is racist, but kidnapping, torturing, and scalping an innocent white man because he is white is not racist. Black-hating mass murderer Dylann Storm Roof speaks for all white people, left-wingers claim, but Hill, Cooper, and the Covington sisters are all outliers somehow detached from the culture at large...

Does liberal thinking make people behave like this? No, I don't think so. I think that hate organizations funded by Soros have a lot to do with it, and the media has been a willing conspirator.

Secret Service Taking Extraordinary Measures To Protect Against "Unprecedented" Inauguration Threats

Jan 17, 2017

Just yesterday we noted the latest undercover video from Project Veritas which revealed anarchist groups plotting to disrupt the Trump inauguration by dumping butyric acid into the heating and ventilation systems of buildings expected to be used for this weekend's festivities.  Add to that, the fact that ~750,000 protesters are expected to descend upon Washington D.C. with a stated intent to "paralyze the city" and Obama's "extremely unusual" move to fire the D.C. National Guard Chief just days before the inauguration ceremonies and you have a recipe for disaster.

Describing the situation to Washington Top News, Secret Service Director Joseph Clancy acknowledged that the threat level at this ingratiation is "different" from previous ones saying that, after a contentious 2016 campaign cycle, people "are willing to do things they may not have been willing to do in the past."

“I think people today are willing to do things they may not have been willing to do in the past,” Clancy said.

He cited several episodes that took place during the campaign, “where people jumped over those bike racks or security zones into our buffer. In the past, it was very rare for somebody to do that. Today, in this past campaign, people were willing to do it.”

Maness says, however, “From what we have seen the security measures and first-responder preparations have been excellent for the event.”

In addition to D.C. being a perpetual high-profile target for terrorist attacks, Clancy notes that, as confirmed by the latest Project Veritas video, the bigger threat is likely coming from anarchist groups who will stop at nothing to disrupt the inauguration ceremonies in some way.

“We know that this (Washington region) is a high-profile [terror] target. It’s been attacked in the past, historically,” said Paul Abbate, the FBI’s executive assistant director for the Criminal, Cyber, Response and Services Branch.

"The bigger threat is probably coming from anti-government/anarchist groups who are likely to try and disrupt the inauguration, and may engage in violence to do so,” said Mike Maness, director of Trapwire.

Other FBI officials have confirmed that Washington is mentioned on a daily basis as a potential target in intercepted terrorist chatter and communications. “We, from the FBI standpoint, are ready to counter terrorist attacks and are working with our partners in building out the intelligence picture,” Abbate said.

On Friday, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson spoke to reporters about preparations for the inauguration.

“We know of no specific credible threat directed toward the inauguration,” he said.  But in the same statement, he acknowledged, “that is only part of the story.”

Other parts of that story include the unknown, according to Clancy, and that is causing him to lose sleep.

“Every night I wake up and I wonder do we have some issue covered,” Clancy said.

Of course, extraordinary threats call for extraordinary preparations and countermeasures as this year's inauguration will include large perimeters that will be heavily fortified with "trucks, dumpsters, buses and the like" to defend against terrorist attacks similar to those that struck Nice, France and Berlin, Germany in 2016 as rogue trucks plowed through masses of people.

Soft perimeters will permit access to only those vehicles belonging to people who live or work in the area. Hard vehicle perimeters will be off limits to all but official vehicles.

This year in particular, Johnson said, “The hard vehicle perimeter will be heavily fortified by trucks, dumpsters, buses and the like, given the current threat environment.”

That environment he spoke of is created by terror groups’ constant online prodding of sympathizers to conduct not just spectacular attacks like those in Paris, Brussels, Turkey, Germany and Orlando in the past year, but single-casualty attacks as well.

Another key part of Secret Service attack prevention planning started months ago, and is designed to cover large and small incidents.

And, if all else fails, we're sure the "Bikers For Trump" will be available on short order to form a "wall of meat" to protect the President-elect.

Ads Offer Protesters $2500 to Disrupt Trump Inauguration

17.01.2017

Job advertisements running in 20 cities across the US are offering $2,500 a month for “operatives” willing to protest the upcoming inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.

San Francisco-based Demand Protest posted ads on Backpage.com, seeking applicants who would like to "Get paid fighting against Trump!" Along with the monthly $2,500 retainer, the company offers a "standard per-event pay of $50/hr, as long as you participate in at least 6 events a year," and full-time operatives are eligible for vision, dental and health insurance.

Demand Protest describes itself as the "largest private grassroots support organization in the United States, and the ads entice potential applicants to “Get paid fighting against Trump!"

It explains, "We pay people already politically motivated to fight for the things they believe. You were going to take action anyways, why not do so with us!…We are currently seeking operatives to help send a strong message at upcoming inauguration protests." according to the Washington Times.

The ads appear as over 100 organizations have mobilized nationwide to demonstrate during the upcoming inauguration. Targeted cities include New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Charlotte, Detroit and Denver.

In November 2016 a story circulated about a man claiming to have been paid $3,500 to protest a Trump rally in Fountain Hills, Arizona, after answering an ad on Craigslist.

Countering claims from the Trump camp that the Bernie Sanders campaign was paying protesters, 37-year-old Paul Horner said, "As for who these people were affiliated with that interviewed me, my guess would be Hillary Clinton’s campaign…The actual check I received after I was done with the job was from a group called ‘Women Are The Future.’ After I was hired, they told me if anyone asked any questions about who I was with or communicated with me in any way, I should start talking about how great Bernie Sanders is."

Fact-checking website PolitiFact debunked Horner’s claims, pointing out that he has posted numerous fabricated news stories, making them seem legitimate by creating news sites that appear to be trustworthy sources.

Some of these stories go viral, generating thousands in ad sales. Horner later admitted he concocted the story, telling the Washington Post that, "(Trump’s) followers don’t fact-check anything — they’ll post everything, believe anything," adding that then-Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, "posted my story about a protester getting paid $3,500 as fact. Like, I made that up. I posted a fake ad on Craigslist."

Demand Protest appears to offer anonymous resistance for parties who want to engage in political opposition without having to deal with the fallout

"With absolute discretion a top priority, our operatives create convincing scenes that become the building blocks of massive movements. When you need the appearance of outrage, we are able to deliver it at scale while keeping your reputation intact." the site reads.

There are some who believe that the rhetoric on the Demand Protest site indicates that the entire operation is a hoax, but they claim to have provided nearly 2,000 operatives in 48 cities, without offering further detail, also featuring vaguely-worded testimonies from unnamed satisfied clients.

In a November 9 article in Business Insider discussing the emergence of protests around the nation, a featured photograph by the Associated Press shows students marching in the streets holding banners. One reads, “Trump = Always Racist” — but along the bottom of that banner is a curious suggestion to “Text NeverTrump to 877-877.”
When you do just that, you will receive an automatically-generated reply text with the opening line, “Welcome to UWD – let’s stop Trump together” with the option to reply “Help” for more information. Doing so reveals UWD is “United We Dream” — an immigrant advocacy organization receiving funding from none other than George Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

...

Additional associations can be found dotting CraigsList ads all around the country.
On the day after the election, one such ad in the Seattle area CraigsList job postings, titled, “Fight the Trump Agenda! We’re hiring Full-Time Organizers 15/hr!” asks for “motivated individuals” for various positions which are not detailed for the “state’s oldest and largest Grassroots Non-Profit” — “Washington CAN!” — another Open Society Foundations-funded group.
Although the phone number listed originally has changed, it can still be traced to Washington CAN, and the contact provided in the ad, Sol, is Sol Bey, listed on the organization’s now-removed staff list.
...
A second job listing by Washington CAN, posted on November 11, has a curiously suggestive heading: “Organize to stop Trump Agenda! Be Civil, but Don’t Back Down. $15/hr!
...

However, as mentioned, this heightened response to the results of an election seem oddly disproportionate to smaller-sized demonstrations occurring when Hillary Clinton supplanted the left’s obviously preferred candidate, Bernie Sanders.
Nevertheless, keeping vigilant about the hidden hands pulling the strings behind the scenes is imperative to ensure the organic portion of such a movement isn’t usurped for the interests of personally-motivated heavy influencers who don’t consider the full weight of consequences for those who disagree with their goals.
Donald Trump certainly capitalized on previously-latent racism in a vocal but smaller faction of his support base to win the White House — but that in no way dictates all of his supporters, anyone who voted for him, are racists and bigots. Indeed, the majority of Trump voters had simply grown weary of the corruption, collusion, and heavy-handed tactics of Democrats and the liberal left — an apt characterization of George Soros.
If you don’t support the incoming Trump administration, so be it — but be wary the agendas of those who opportune such moments to insert a new framework which could easily be even less appealing overall.
