Is it OK for a guy to go physical with a girl from the start?

For most guys the answer is no and the girl would probably see it as a sexual assault.

But if a guy is calibrated, coming from a place of abundance, is just a non apologetic guy giving off great expansive energy and he sees those big bambi eyes with the dilated pupils , then it will most probably work.
The big bambi eyes , the dilating pupils show arousal and this arousal in a female can be fine with an instant physical escalation.  You would need to really be in the zone for this to work but i can gaurantee you it can and does work on the right woman when delivered by the right guy and it is consensual.
This is a nuanced point.
The beta males in the mainstream media could never support this because the creepy guys would try it and get destroyed.
