In America all it takes is one(1) juror out of twelve (12) to not be convinced of guilt, & its over......back to square one, that is of course if the the prosecution wishes to proceed, & try the case all over again.....& again.....& again.....8 years flies by while procedures run their course.

People have been known to "journey to their maker" while trials are dragging on.....usually, more so than not, a price is met, & amazingly all's better....life goes on.....no harm, no foul....they all order takeout & go home. Cest la vie......

Everyone has their price.

Well put.........And this will be handled in an American Court, not here in Australia....

difference...the burden of proof is infinitely higher for the plaintiff/prosecution in America, infinitely higher.

Many defendants never even show up in court......& they rarely ever get examined......it's a 5th Amendment thing......One need not bear witness against oneself, because of self-incrimination......"I Refuse to Answer on the Grounds That It May Incriminate Me" ...........their Right to not have to testify is protected in the US Constitution's 5th Amendment.

So, as stated before......Trump remains innocent as the white driven snow until proven guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt, in a unanimous decision, by a 12 juror jury of his peers, in a U.S. Court.
