For those who persist in thinking there's a job out there if only 'the bludgers' would look.

Jobs to jobless ratio in SA. ABS figures.

Just low much more out-of-touch with the stark reality of the issue do you want to be?

A little story.
A lady at work who runs a body corporate couldn't find anyone to
fix the roof guttering on some units.

5 different tradespeople turned the job down - & wouldn't even quote.

A 6th one turned up & quoted to fix the whole roof instead  & mostly forgot about the guttering.

It seems that many tradespeople people don't want any work.

It does seem you can make up stories that perfectly fit your narrative.

It also seem you think everyone is a intellectually deficient as you and will believe the little stories you make up.  Grin Grin Grin

Here is a little fact you might want to use in future, Tradies who don't want to do a particular job, for what ever reason, will write a quote is outrageously high.

Just because you have some little sh1t job that is beyond your technical capabilities doesn't mean every tradie will jump at the chance to do it for you.

.. proving Bobby's point..... and mine ... tradies are too fat and  only want the good and easy work.....

Thanks Grappler,
by the way that job wasn't small -
it was to fix the guttering on 10 units.
Big money was ignored becuase tradies didn't want the work.

What's not included in that chart are the number of advertised jobs that are filled by people who already have a job. The job market is like a giant game of musical chairs where only the people in the chairs can hear the music, or a game of whack-a-mole with a huge number of holes.

Hmmmmm, no jobs for Aussies eh?

So in effect what you're BOTH saying is that refugees should not be allowed to come into Oz because they'll only worsen this already dreadful jobless situation. Thank you for clarifying your position.

The thing isn't that 'people don't want work' - it is that tradies, like doctors and politicians, nowadays consider themselves above doing the hard work jobs, and only want to do the easy and lucrative work.

Judging by that statement I don't think you know what a tradie does for a living. For the most part it is filthy, sweaty work; that pays damn good money.

Dole bludger, should have no choice
if there is work available to them
and they say no, fine no fkkken dole until the work is done. They can sit and watch someone else earn the the money and pay the taxes that go to support welfare recipients, just not them.

Long term dole bludgers always have an excuse; fkkk 'em I have run out of patience for bull sh1t excuses

But there isn't, is there?

I've posted the figures at LEAST TWICE in this thread alone, as have several others, but you refuse to see them?

Why?

And PLEASE don't come back with bullsh1t like 'there are jobs if you look hard'.

There are NOT.

In which case, refugees trying to get into Oz, will only worsen the above atrocious situation for you.

I have said nothing about refugees and it is a puerile strawman to pretend that I did. Grow up.

Nothing to say about 457 visas taking Australian jobs? Nothing at all?

Well you should have.

You can't have it both ways.

If there is currently a dreadful situation where Aussies themselves can't find work because the jobs are simply not there, then there'll be no work for refugees trying to get into Oz either.

How about you post some current unemployment rate figures.

Then come back and tell us how bad they are.

The problem for you is that they're not bad.
