and goats somehow manage to thrive in areas where there is absolutely nothing around.  We should be eating more of those.

Eat more goats?, you've got to be kidding me  Cheesy

There's a shitload of em, just running wild in the outback.   If I didn't have to go through such a song and dance to get a gun, I'd be eating them instead of paying for steak.

Get a coupla roos and a coupla goats on a long weekend, have them butchered and I've got meat for months.

Next it'll be "but plants feel pain too" argument.

Ah, yes.

A girlfriend of mine, during my vegetarian period, always used to bring that one up.

She was one of those arseholes, like Gordy, who would get all defensive when confronted by someone who doesn't eat meat.

Vegetarians just really bug some people. I think they feel challenged.

Gordy clearly does.

Vegans bug people even more.

Yes, Gordy is one of those arsholes that can't stand the thought of people not eating meat.

They get very defensive and aggressive, for no reason at all.

I probably eat more meat today than I've ever eaten in my life.

However, I truly believe that the fact that I was a vegetarian for 20 years, and the fact that I have not so much as a single polyp in my colon, is no coincidence.

Please show me were I've mentioned I dissaprove of vegetarianism,  particularly for dietary or environmental reasons? You're just making that up like you said I think gays are pedos.

Why do you think gays are pedos, Gordy?

I don't,  I've also participated in 2 Gay Mardi Gras.
You falsely accused me of saying that.

Pics, or it didn't happen.

I have originals with exif.

I've only eaten goat once.
It was stringy, tough and tasted ........ 'rangey'

I guess it could be cooked differently to improve it.

Goat curry is great.

I've also had a few goat meals at Jamaican restaurants - always good.

Just read it - the greens mp seemed more disgusted he ate the elephant than that he killed it in the first place.  Thats a hard mindset to understand - would it be better if he wasted it?

Borsak broke no laws what he did was 100% legal, the Greens MP who whinged about it does break laws.

I've got no problem with it.  Lefties can't seem to get their heads around the fact life eats life.

If they knew how many mammals and grind nesting birds are killed to provide their vegan diet, not to mention the indirect deaths from habitat clearing required to do so, they'd have quite a dilemma to face.

God that's a crap argument. More land is cleared for livestock and feed for livestock than there is for growing crops for humans.

More water is used too.

As for animals killed or displaced for growing crops, who is claiming to be impeccable ? The point is to find your own line and stick to it.

Minimising both suffering and your footprint is a good thing.

Most Australian beef is grown on unirrigated land that is too poor for cropping.

We should allow trophy hunting for crocs with cashed up tourists.

In principle yes, but is there much demand for hunting crocs?  They are impressive creatures, but they don't seem particularly elusive or difficult to hunt, but I guess that wouldn't mean much to canned hunters.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Unless, of course, the hunters are tackling the crocs without the aid of weapons.

People pay to kill tame lions lured with food.

Some people just want to kill things.

Zimbabwe is going to cull 200 lions where is the outrage over that?

Not many wealthy tourists willing to pay $50K a Lion since that Dentist was hounded from his place of work and home with death threats from peaceful animal lovers despite the fact he broke no laws.

Zimbabwe was getting $50,000 a Lion from wealthy tourists to shoot Lions they would have to cull anyway, now they have to shoot 200 of them for no money thanks to do gooding retarded leftists.

I guess there will be no outrage over the culling of these 200 lions since a black man will be shooting them, the retarded racist leftists are only outraged when white man shoots something.

No. Most people don't approve of trophy hunting.

It has nothing to do with skin colour. Seriously.

In the circumstances described above I think it is great. Instead of wiping out the natural ecosystem to grow food, the locals will see a more natural environment for the valuable asset it is.

you just haven't cooked it properly ... make a bolognaise sauce using pieces (not mince) of goat, on the bone, let it stew in the sauce on low all day (occasionally adding water so that it doesn't burn or dry out) and I guarantee it'll be the best bolognaise sauce you've EVER had.

Worlds most stupidest woman found inside crocodile ...

Police have recovered what are believed to be human remains from a crocodile that was removed from Cooper Creek on Friday afternoon.

At this stage, police believe the remains are those of a woman who was reported missing on May 29.

Police will be preparing a report for the coroner.

Wildlife officers captured and put down the 4.3 metre crocodile on Friday that was believed to have killed New Zealand-born tourist Cindy Waldron in far north Queensland.

The Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (EHP) removed the estuarine crocodile from Cooper Creek, near Thornton Beach where Ms Waldron was taken on Sunday night, and euthanised the reptile.

'Wildlife officers believe the 4.3m crocodile is the target animal due to its size and location,' Queensland police said in a statement on Friday evening.

Not particularly elusive??  Grin

They are stealth predators.

That's why they can sneak up on their prey without being seen or heard until it's too late.

They are particularly elusive .... ask the NPWLS Officers that were here trying to catch/trap a 4.5 mtr croc.

It took them 18 months to catch the first one and the over a month to catch a second one sighted in the town reaches of the river.

Animals can be nearly impossible to hunt where they are frequently targeted. They learn. But if you go to a sufficiently remote location, there will be lots of them and they will be easy to hunt.

People will still pay a lot of money for the privilege, and crocs aren't as cute as lions so there is no risk of a cecil type incident ruining it.

A few years ago the QLD enviro department stupidly released a 3.5 metre croc near Townsville thinking that it would stay in the river they put it in, away from people. They had fitted a tracker on it to see where it went and what it was doing.

Well within a week or so, it went to Maggie Island and start hunting tourists, the island was basically shut down for 3 months while an A Team from the brisbane Enviro Dept made hunting a single tracked crocodile the most difficult task known to man.

The labor member from Cairns pointed out the crocs were a tourist attraction and we should be happy her government made Townsville a better place to visit. For some reason Cairns loikes to elect cretins from the labor party on a regular basis, who know fkk all about crocs or much else for that matter..
