The two major parties actually need to consider what some of the other 49% of the population (who didn't auto-vote for them) will think, instead of rubber stamping laws that will be forgotten once the pork barrelling starts, late in their term of government.

Ferk em. Make them justify their legislation to someone, at least, instead of just getting the party whip to ensure all their drones turn up for a vote.
