I think is was 1986, early xmas morning. My mum lived in Bennelong electorate and I was visiting. We'd run out of milk so I went up to the Lane Cove shops on my motorbike to the Lebbo run mixed business which was the only shop open.

Milk tucked away in my backpack I pulled a big wheely down the dead quite main street of Lane Cove. JH must have ducked into the same shop and as I was riding past he walked right out onto the road with out looking. His look of terror when he noted me at the last minute is etched in my mind.

I manged to drop my front wheel and change line just in time

That's f'n funny Gordy. I am seriously reconsidering my self diagnosis as a psychopath because I so totally empathised with that situation, felt the terror of John, the buried laugh as you put the front wheel down and ride distractedly back to your mums, suffocating the giggles to get the mind back on the task.

Damn, that's twice he could have been stopped but got lucky. Once by you and once by the twin towers terrorists. They missed him by one day! Cheesy
