He's certainly a pedophile by association.

I'm getting the religion "Catholic" removed from my birth certificate. Never did feel comfortable with it being there.

It's got me puzzled why the victims who went to Rome want to see the Pope. That's just condoning the vile acts committed against them

I am not religious.  I am struggling to understand why this testimony of Pell's has me so angry.  I am really angry.

The only consolation will be if criminal charges come from this before Pell dies.

Pell has single-handedly destroyed to credibility of the current pope.  I suspect there wll be more than you severing connections with that church.  I just can't work out why society has taken so long to reach this point.

I never had much to do with them, but I completely gave them a miss when I found out they supported Australia's involvement in the Vietnam war. Fighting communism or not, the Catholic church should have kept out of the politics, a politics I got caught up in as a conscript.

BTW there was plenty of poofter perves in the Public medical system (government doctors in their government offices examining individual conscripts who were deferred due to finishing their apprenticeships)  ...and then there were poofter type NCOs in the Army going around stripping conscripts' and stamping their dicks with "canceled" stamps

Ooops, you got a serious issue if you are upset by 'poofters'.

Not sure there is anywhere you can go as homosexuals are a significant part of the population and there isn't anything you can do about it.

Cods, I am not one to panic in any situation.  I don't give a flying fig about Pell.  I will (and did) comment that any innocent man (not saying Pell is) is not about to falsely confess just because an alleged victim is bawling their eyes out in front of him.

Just to give you a bit more to have a go at me about........I reckon the behaviour in Rome of the victims and their feeding the schmedia is appalling.  That's not why the Public made donations so they could be there, and they seem completely unaware of their complete irrelevance to what is happening in Rome.   Now, they've lost interest in eyeballing Pell (gee....who'd a thought that was ever going to be anything other than a waste of time) and want a meeting with the Pope.  I reckon that will probably happen, and if it does....he'll wave some Holy Water over them, give them all a  'bless you,' wave them goodbye and then completely forget them.

from aussie..

and now Pell has confessed to knowing all along and doing not a thing about it..

INCREDIBLE   sick and INCREDIBLE>.

wouldnt you lose faith in someon e who weas lying like a pig he is... and want to see his BOSSMAN?>.

this is a man who is 3rd highest in the Rome Church.... and not only lied for years and years but to the Royal Comm...into child abuse...

and aussie with his usual foot on both sides of the camp.[ I am not saying he is]....but all the while pointing his ugly finger at the victims.. his usual stance...

can we guess these children should have told the Cardinal what to do about those abusing them????>.

I am sure his legal eagles will put him up to that one..

they too dont giv e a fig about the children...

Why cods....why do you just make crap up?  You will find no post made by me or anyone 'pointing "an (ugly) finger at the victims.."  You always over-reach and it is quite alarming that you do so.

Ah, okay, Mr Baron, so you did not graduate as a Police Officer with a University degree?  Do they all now graduate as a Police Officer with a University degree?  Has it ever been the case that every graduating Police Officer also had at that time of Police Graduation, a Uni degree?

I see you are here.  Mr Baron?

What I see in George Pell is a person steeped in ritual and the manifest of the Catholic Church.

He is so immersed in his Church that he has lost touch with the human condition and everything that goes along with it.

He is Jurassic Park personified. Let us hope that the current generation of Priests are more enlightened and informed on life and deal with it, no matter what damage comes to the Church by pursuing the truth.

Nothing crass about it at all, cods.  If a Man is innocent of abusing a child, the presence of that child in front of him ~ sobbing, crying, bawling their eyes out, is not going to make him to say he did something terrible when he did not.

Mr Baron, why are you ignoring my query?

Arsie is again defending PAEDOPHILES ....

You would very obviously believe a grown male over a small child. You are a DISGUSTING PERSON.

Aussie I stand corrected on the degree business. All new Police do have to gain a degree in Policing from Charles Sturt University in New South Wales.

They graduate as Cops after 12 months full time training.

I understand they complete their degree over the next two years, completing a total of three years to finish their degree.

Apologies about my initial information.
