Link.

Just go, Ruddock!

For starters, he has done more for Australia than you and me combined.

He is an honourable man. Not a showman, I grant you, but an honourable man.  Unlike you.

So what?  He goes and gets the usual golden handshake worth hundreds of thousands of dollar.

Why does he not have the 'honour,' morality or common decency to get his hand out of our wallet taking this sinecure as well?

If he wants to work on, great ~ seek re-election!  He'd win easily!  Nah, this is part of Turnbull using our money to get rid of dead wood he does not want in Parliament.  It is a simple as that.

Uber getting to you Aussie?  Cool

have you asked all those JUDGES that are also living at the taxpayers expense...even after years of falling asleep on the bench..of course all these ivory tower dwellers...think paedophilia and drink driving is all ok if the judiciary get caught doing it..

yes even means NO to some.

one good thing we wont be looking after the fat pig Palmer after the next election..

I know of no retired Judge who has been handed a Government sinecure in addition to their usual retirement benefits.

Hang on!  Yeas I can ~ two spring to mind now I think of it.  Royal Commissioners Cole and Dyson Heydon.

No references at all to Judges appointed to Labor RCs?  Of course not! You dont want to spoil your perfect record of total unswerving bias!

Sounds like someone is envious of the successful after your own career of driving a taxi.

Ruddock will now retire and like all successful lawyers will start driving taxis.

Maybe he should.  It would demonstrate that he is able to fend for himself and not need us to prop him up with an obvious sinecure.

did you say that to gillard and krudd and the green bloke when you were a green.... Angry Angry Angry Angry

I am damn sure I never read it perhaps you hav e a link to where you did..

at the moment I think we have more EX lABOR PMs LIVING OFF THE FAT OF THE LAND...

than any liberals...but I guess thats ok with your double standards...

What taxpayer funded job were Gillard and Rudd handed after they left politics?

What "green" bloke, and when was i ever a 'green?'

Gillard is a Professor at an Adelaide Uni and to date has apparently delivered a grand total of ONE lecture.

Sounds like a great job!  A bit like Tim Flannerys former gig on the Climate council at $180K for a PART-TIME JOB.

He is going to be paid for DOING A JOB.  What is your problem other than the embarrassment of being a PUP supporter - the most expensive disaster of a political party in history.

Judges were appointed to Labor RCs. That's all it takes to torpedo your insipid argument. THIS is why your claim to being a lawyer always fails. You produce lettuce-leaf arguments based on nothing more than your own petty biases and issues.  You are a joke.

Laugh away and post some details of these Judges appointed by Labour to act as Royal Commissioners.  I'm not saying it has never happened.  You say it has, so stump up with some proof, melielongtime.

If you don't like compulsory voting, you know where the airport is.

The trouble with voluntary voting is that someone (usually conservatives, funnily
enough) will then actively make it difficult or impossible for minorities or dissenters
TO vote at all.

Don't believe me? It's already been happening in the USA for some time now.
