Hypothetically speaking,  Pecker,  what do you think your response would be if and when the link to a SMH pictorial is found?

Mine would depend upon the Report which accompanied any photo.

Why are they all looking at the cameraman aussie?

where would you look if you were in the water and a boat approached you?

When your feet are touching the bottom why would you be looking for a boat?

I don't know.  Maybe something as sinister as the cameraman asked them to look at him.

If they were near the shoreline I'd expect to see some sort of waves, no matter how small they might be  ... I suspect that photo has been most likely photo shopped. The fact that it only appears on some anti migration groups facebook page doesn't help your cause

Going by the standing people and those with life jackets above the water I would say they are close to the shore, if they were genuine there would be some urgency to get out of the water.

The lack of waves probably means they chose a calm day, it doesn't indicate anything.

There is nobody holding up a sign saying "Help us, we're drowning".

There's no link to a news story, suggesting that they were drowning.

There's no mention of where this photo was taken.

There's no mention of who the people in the photo are.

There's no mention of when this photo was taken.

There's no mention of who the photographer was.

You have a photo, a blog, and a facebook page - that's it.

How about answering some questions.

Where's the claim that they were drowning coming from?

The photo is obviously staged, its not photo shopped. And they are all looking towards the camera despite apparently pretending to be in distress. I woudl be more surprised if there werent staged photos, photographers have been caught doing this quite a few times within the last few years, most notably also with the Palestinen Israeli conflict where they were caught staging children with injuries near bombing sites..

oh, here's the weekly 'fabricate smears on muslims' thread.

obviously  Roll Eyes

Not sure what you mean by "apparently pretending to be in distress" - but rather than concocting a sinister conspiracy to explain this, there is an easier and far more logical explanation: They are either washing up on shore, or more likely just disembarked from their boat where there is a group of locals/rescuers - one of whom is taking a photo of them. They are looking at the camera man because, shock horror, people tend to look at people, particularly new and different people who are most likely there to help them.

Oh and by the way - acting 101 - if I was simulating drowning I'd be doing stuff like, you know, waving my arms around and flailing in the water all panic like - not sitting/standing there relaxed like as if you are standing in 3 feet of water.

Finally - what greg said, this whole story is nothing but a fabricated smear until you lot can, at the very minimum actually indicate where it was claimed these people were drowning.

Oh?!? Is this the wanking and pooping in the swimming pool picture?
A group of migrant men and women were caught on security camera at the Johannisbad baths in Zwickau, Saxony engaging in unacceptable behaviour, including masturbating into the jacuzzi. In separate incidents other groups of migrants were caught “contaminating” the children’t [sic] training pool by “emptying their bowels in the water”, and sexually assaulting other bathers, reports Bild.

Multicultural, innit. Mustn't judge coz they are tinted. Only Westerners must be judged cos they are not tinted (BIG mistake, being white).

Drowning is two doors down, ta.

Shiting the showrs is three doors.
