It's still appearing in the form of a flashing clipboard whenever I boot up the computer.

'Ditto' is an app. extension to the Window's clipboard that I never downloaded, but was sneaked in undercover of something else.

Another problem I'm experiencing now - and have done so in the past  ... is one in which the web-page jumps vertically after I've scrolled a bit up or down the page.

Google has proved useless in solving this.

In getting rid of an unwanted app you need to look in a few places.

1. Uninstall it.
2. Check it is not in startup
3. Check recently installed DLLs. Remove them if it is one of them.
4. Delete the files.. DLLs ...etc

I never have had to look in the registry too often... avoid that unless you really know what you are doing.

I've already tried that, Super - and it all got bogged down - BUT! - using Windows Task Manager >> Processes >> I deleted 'Ditto' out of there and it might have done the trick.

Yep, until reboot.
Now check it is not started up on start up.

It didn't show any problem the last time I rebooted.

I think I might have solved the problem of the jumping page that happens a few seconds after I scroll a page.

Tools > Options > Advanced > un-check 'autoscrolling' and 'hardware acceleration'.

It seems to have done the trick.
