If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand.

OMG Bobby, that’s absolutely gorgeous!
Did you see how the puppies felt told off and a little shamed?
They understood mum okay!
Incredible our animal world, love it 💕

Dad's two dogs are fairly large and good security dogs. But one (the female) is a guts. The other (the male) is particular about the food it eats. During dinner time, the female eats its dinner very fast. Whereas the male will eat some and then some later. He has to defend his meal from the female. Then he eats it out of a sense that he would lose his meal if he did not eat.

This problem has moved on to treats being meted out to each. The female eats her treat fast. The male has a few bites and then takes it somewhere else for later consumption. I recall a night where the male had taken the treat to the bedroom to hide. He was on his way out of the room and had walked down the hallway. He met up with his female companion. The female had given the male's mouth a quick sniff and then started to head down the hallway. The male, realising what she had done by sniffing him, had turned, snapped at her, and darted off down the hallway to protect his treat.

Watching my parents' dogs last night. I came around to say hello. Both dogs came to greet me. I noticed that Dad had his heater going. Settled down to watch some television. The dogs had their own beds, equal distance to the heater. I noticed that the male dog was resting over the end of his blanket bed with his front legs on the floor. It took a little while later that I noticed that the female dog was doing something similar on the other side of the room. Dad mentioned that he did not know how they can feel comfortable laying like that. Moments later, I realised that both were trying to feel comfortable but be as close to the heater as they needed. Dogs must feel the cold more than we do.

I was practicing a triad on the guitar with a slur on the second note. I put the guitar down and was heading out when my cat made a note perfect rendition of what I was playing. Usually he just says "HerrO".

My friend's former pet, an Aussie silky terrier, learned how to say a close "mum-may".

My cat only knows one word. He says it ten times a day, however.
