When the cougar were kittens I used to let them ride on my shoulders. Now that they are over 100 pound it is not as easy. Don't tell Genevieve that though!

Was digging in the back part of my backyard yesterday. Dog was with me—and was soon on the scent of what I assumed was a rat or something. Tried various ways to get whatever to break out of cover. Suddenly I saw something black running out and away. Thought “that is a big black rat!”

Was a black CAT! What a good dog Demi is!
