They ask for under 35s only???  No wonder they are notoriously unreliable.

Exactly! Next time they ring and ask "is there anyone under 35?' Go for it.  Polls are absolutely USELESS.

Morgan is always all over the place. They had the libs at 56.5 and now 52.5 all while the majors just stay on 53/47. Now without the GST holding them back, the polls will only improve.

Nah.  Labor can justifiably say that the Libs may have taken it out of debate, but their intent will be to introduce it after the election if they win.  Labor would be nuts not to take that line.

They can't and this will be the issue.

52.5/47.5 - it's tightening as people may be starting to question Turnbull's policies.

that might explain how they came up with these numbers

However, the L-NP leads with all older age groups: 35-49yr olds (L-NP 51.5% cf. ALP 48.5%); 50-64yr olds (L-NP 55.5% cf. ALP 44.5%) and easily amongst those aged 65+ (L-NP 61% cf. ALP 39%).

It explains absolutely NOTHING ....

When asked who you will vote for, by a perfect stranger (on the phone) your first reaction is "None of your business" ... isn't it?

Who would believe them? The record so far is that the GST has only eve been taken to an election. Meanwhile, Labor has the Carbon Tax fiasco as a weight on its election credibility.

Who wants to smell Labor's fear? From a safe and comfortable 53/47 lead and holding, the only fear you smell is your own.

Gillard's situation was entirely different from Abbott's.  Must I yet again post that video of Abbott lying his arse off on the eve of the 2013 election?
