Really?  What woke you up?

I knew it right from the start. Most others didnt.

DO you feel ripped off that you invested in the Titanic Political Party?  If not, you should. Everyone is laughing at you because of it.

Oh.....I thought we were talking about Xenophon.  Why do you bother asking me about PUP given you boast that it is stuffed?

Oh we will be talking about PUP for a long time, mostly mocking laughter. And as a proud PUP member you get the added bonus of being a target as well.  It's not as if this outcome wasnt predictable. PUP was always going to be  a disaster of epic proportions. No one expected it to take down a nickel refinery as well, but Palmer is a deft hand at taking on working businesses and running them into the ground.

Federal Cabinet Minister Christopher Pyne has used the turmoil surrounding Clive Palmer's Queensland Nickel to warn voters away from minor parties.

Mr Pyne said the voters in Mr Palmer's seat of Fairfax would be likely looking for a new local member.

He told Channel Nine that PUP had been a "disaster".

"This is an example of why people shouldn't play with independents and minor parties, because of the instability they create," he said.

"Quite frankly, whether it's Labor or Liberal, we have the processes in place to ensure that we don't have the kind of outcomes that happen with PUP or One Nation or whatever political party is passing at the time."

So Palmers' personal woes are proof that the minor parties are unstable?

Does he really think the big parties have been the model of stability of late? or is Pyne really that big a fool?

Pyne is right, but he is actually taking aim at Xenophon's fledgling party. You didn't know that, did you?

You think Pyne is right?  Grin Grin Grin Grin

so you think the major parties have been stable? 5 PM's in 5 years is not what I call stable, but of course you know better  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

They are. Look at PUP. It imploded after a short time. Now we have that wackjob Jackie Lambie with her own party, Nick Xenophon with his own (a candidate with life experience in fashion - will she be Minister for Fashion???) and then there's the Motoring Enthusiasts' Party - what a great party they've been with the stellar Ricky Muir fronting for them!

The more minor parties get representation the better for Australia.  We ought never have allowed ourselves to be locked into a duopoly.

Based on how well minor parties have worked out so far?  PUP has been the very worst example of a pointless party yet.

Do you feel like you were conned?

not as conned as people were when they voted for the democrats for opposing the GST Cheesy

Did Maria vote for Abbott?

Maria, did you vote for Mr Abbott, dear? I note you're from Sydney, even though I detect a distinctly pro-Turnbull bias. Am I right?

I agree with the first phrase....and I am mockingly laughing at your second.  Whether you admit it or not, fact is ~  Palmer/PUP wiped out Newmann and destroyed Abbott and his garbage budget.  I'm very happy with that.

Your arrogance is only exceeded by your stupidity. Newman destroyed himself while PUP - with zero QLD representation - take credit for a lot of things they didnt do. The best example was the first name for PUP which led palmer to literally claim to have had a PM and government previously. The AEC put paid to that insane arrogance, while laughing all the way.

Abbot was not even remotely damaged by PUP. Palmer has done his dough - $50M+ - destroyed his own refinery and become one of the biggest laughing stocks in the country and will be so for many years. The Fat Fool is more likely to be expelled from parliament for non-attendance before he has any actual impact on politics.

And the idiot wonders why governments of both persuasions can barely contain their glee at his troubles.

YOU were conned. And remained conned.

Maybe you can point to a PROFESSIONAL political analyst that would concur with that assessment. Oh I forgot. You can't, because none exists. Even dopes are smarter than you lot.

Meanwhile each of Newmann, Abbott and his budget are stuffed.  History.  Thanks to PUP, and the money Palmer threw at it.  You'll somehow have to work out a way to deal with that melielongtime.
