Quote:Palmer was just a disgruntled Tory anyway
Would you like to know why?
Because he couldn't get his own way?
Quote:for the monies he pinched out of QLD Nickel,
You do understand that as the sole shareholder of that Company, he is legally the beneficiary of whatever the Company earns.
Regardless it's unethical ... especially in light of what has happened.
Quote:the dodgy property deals he did using the company,
What dodgy property deals?
http://www.townsvillebulletin.com.au/news/mates-rates-resort-deal/news-story/5e8... Quote:the fact that he won't pay sacked employees their entitlements & has failed to pay their Superannuation since November ...
He does not owe them anything. However, even though he has no legal obligation to do so, he is offering up backing of a value of $M250 to get
the Company back on track.
What with? Unrealised mineral leases/coal projects?
He said Waratah Coal and China First have also given $250 million in assets to Queensland Nickel, which has about $60 million owed to creditors.
Mr Palmer said the assets included "proven" coal deposits, and said the administrators would reveal the details at next week's creditor's meeting.
Until they have their entitlements paid ... which would be holidays, LSL & their superannuation & redundancies then his words mean nothing & he's culpable for the situation. He would have known it was coming yet did nothing.
Quote:should warrant criminal charges ....
Don't be absurd.
It's illegal not to pay superannuation & leave entitlements.
Quote:then there's the 12 million he pinched off his Chinese backers.
That has now been dealt with by the Judicial system which found he did no such thing. Sorry to disappoint you with the truth. Sucks, hey.
