Jesus has forsaken UK for allowing too many muslims etc into the country.

Perhaps.

This news, however, shows that there is hope for the future.

Perhaps you would care to show us the shining example of the athiest state you long for.  Last I heard that included such utopian regimes such as China and USSR and let's not forget the Marxists states of... anywhere.

IN contrast, the richest, most free and most democratic countries are all Christian.

I think the examples you listed had atheism as inconsequential to the reasons they sucked so bad.

That will only be seriously considered if you can find an substantial exception to the rule otherwise the rule is in force, despite you inconvenience with it.

China and USSR are examples. Atheism was a secondary consequence to overturning existing governments.

I'm not sure thats right.
i find buddhists and christians far less "fearful" then secular people.
You need a direction in life and you need a "personal philosophy"
It doesnt probably matter in the long run which direction you take, but if you dont take a direction you are well and truly farrked.
And it seems to my observations that many many aetheists would do very well to submit to a "force" greater then themselves.
Their ego's wont like this.
Their ego thinks they will cease to exist if they do.
Paradoxically though, the opposite is true.

If people think they can find peace and happiness in the secular world of "ego", i will wish them good luck. They are going to need it Wink

That is an assertion you cannot prove. Many people lives have been lived with out direction.

You judge that by the utopian, war-free, crime-free, violence free word of 2016?

Much less war than there used to be.

I prefer a western civilisation to either of those.

So do I sprintcyclist, my point is that those countries being atheist is secondary to the main reason they started.
