Ahh well, it's not about his title...it's about where he gets the information that he uses from...and in this case it comes FROM a substantial number of knowledgeable 'world's scientists'....

Dismissing what Monckton says, simply because he has a title, or (as monk did) because of a thyroid condition is the Looney Tunes action.

"climate denialist" is what anthropogenic climate change 'true believers' call sceptics in a fairly pathetic attempt to link climate scepticism to Holocaust denial...I think implication is that not accepting the word of people like Al Gore, Michael Mann and John (the cartoonist) Cook is the same as believing that Holocaust was a hoax.

There was a paper written by a warmist, that tried to link climate sceptics to moon landing hoaxers too...it got torn apart but lots of experts...

Indeed, he just misquotes them, either maliciously or though his own scientific ignorance. Journalist Peter Hadfield did an excellent job going through a multitude of his claims and showing why Monckton is much mistaken in many of them. If you still think he is credible I suggest you check out his short video series.

How odd, I've never seen Monckton misquote climate scientists like Roger Pielke, Richard Lindzen, Fred Singer, Tim Ball or Bob Carter. I have seen him point out errors made by the likes of Michael Mann and Phil Jones though..

See, this is the problem when you take liars like Monckton at their word. If you don't bother checking their information, of course you will be taken in by a charismatic and confident speaker

I fully agree this applies to both sides of the debate. People would save so much time and argument if they just looked into claims.
