The gospel is a collection of documents and writings that satisfy the canonical requirements. It doesn't make any wild assed claims of origin like the Qu'ran does.

The Qu'ran dufus claims differently, you might like to actually research your subject matter before responding irresponsibly and looking, well, shall we say, a bit silly.

It's Gospels' .... as in more than ONE .... and they're supposed to be the word of god.

Inspired by God DUMB DUMB, by his Holy Spirit.

The Qu'ran how ever was supposed to be direct from God every word of Allah Snackbar and around when mohammed existed and even mohammed cannot be proven to actually exist. Grin Grin Grin

Please defend it for us John, please do. Cheesy

INSPIRED? that's funny, in 6 yrs at a catholic school no one ever told me it was only 'inspired'  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It's a cult.

they all are!

" a cult is a religious or social group with socially deviant or novel beliefs and practices.[1] However, whether any particular group's beliefs and practices are sufficiently deviant or novel is often unclear, thus making a precise definition problematic."

Since islam is clearly socially deviant it is clearly a cult. It might be pertinent for you do do some research before commenting next time.

Why are you here commenting on it then if you know nothing of it. Like you do most subjects.

John Smith: "I've no idea what the Qu'ran says .. never read it and don't plan to."

It is worth taking a look at. This is what makes a Muzzlim a Muzzlim, and it ain't pretty, even if orientalists like Gandalf and David Hicks find it intoxicating.

It's amazing how stuffed up the qur'an is

Chapter 2 Qalam  is listed as chapter 68

Chapter 5 Fatehah  is listed as chapter 1

Chapter 87 Baqarah is shown as chapter 2

Chapter 112 Maidah is listed as chapter 5

No wonder muslims are what they are.

Its also amazing how properly you stuffed up too moses - claiming suras 2 and 5 were Meccan verses, despite linking to a source that cites the names of those two verses, and having those two verses very clearly listed as Medinan verses in your own source.

But rest assured, moses' knowledge of the Quran is otherwise rock solid.

And what do you think that make people who insist they have intimate knowledge of what the Quran is about - only to reveal that they don't even know the difference between the chronological and revelation order of the Quran - and can't even verify such a simple and clearly marked distinction in the very source that they are citing?

Like you explaining why 10 verses are ambiguous in a couple sentences then not being about to provide one shred of evidence that the quran actually existed in mohammeds day or mohammed even existed at all until 60 years after his so called death if in fact he did exist at all.

Ah yes chronological or traditional. It appears that allah was unable to hand down the chapters in any sort of logical order. Only two chapters really come out of the mess in the literal order they were supposedly handed down, 71 and 82.

The confusion in the qur'an certainly hasn't helped muslims, the disarray of the qur'an is reflected in what muslims are today 2015.

Collectively the most inbred, low intellect, living in poverty and squalor, murdering non muslims and muslims alike.

A world wide terror threat, millions of them running around the world demanding that the hated infidel take them in and feed and shelter them, complaining about the food and shelter they receive, murdering / drowning their own children by taking them on unsafe boats in order to get the infidel's food and shelter.

muslims a threat and burden to all civilized people.

The delusional order of the qur'an directly correlates to the muslim / islam psychotic behaviour.

Interesting admission of a mistake there, Moses. Still, you could have said all that in one word.
