The difficulty would be interpreting be interpreting the chickens entrails to determine 'human caused mass extinction'.

You're backtracking ... you have already conceded a human caused mass extinction is a possibility.

The question now is what signs showing a mass extinction occurring currently would be acceptable for you?

10% drop in population.

Happy now? The first signs of any extinction is a drop in number. How obvious is that?

There is no doubt that Earth is undergoing the sixth mass extinction in its history — the first since the cataclysm that wiped out the dinosaurs some 65 million years ago. According to one recent study, species are going extinct between ten and several thousand times faster than they did during stable periods in the planet’s history, and populations within species are vanishing hundreds or thousands of times faster than that. By one estimate, Earth has lost half of its wildlife during the past 40 years. There is also no doubt about the cause: We are it.

So you agree, we are within a mass extinction.

So you require evidence from others of a human caused mass extinction occurring.
Is there a point where the evidence is so great and you no longer require other people making up your mind?

And if that point is reached, will the human caused mass extinction be at a point where it no longer can be stopped?

And you make up your mind, or what passes for one, on the back of an op-ed piece. Talk about others making up your mind.

The question is reasonably clear.

At what point of a human caused mass extinction would you click to it occurring, without having advice from others?

Yes more unlikely than likely.

It would need to be a better scientific paper than the tosh published. I already showed about the Antarctic krill. And that was only a cursory glance.

You need to review the papers and see whether they stand up to scrutiny.

Where it was pointed out in the other post.

Half is greater than 10% ... so the 10% has been past.

Okay so now you are changing the story line and NOT discussing human extinction at all. You sure are a slippery one and no, that is not a compliment. It means you are a charlatan. You just torpedoed your own argument.

Half of all marine life lost in 40 years: WWF report

The populations of some marine species have declined by 49 per cent in just four decades, according to one of the most extensive surveys of sealife ever compiled.

The Living Blue Planet Report, just released by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in collaboration with the Zoological Society of London, documents the extraordinary losses, which occurred from 1970 to 2012. Alarmingly, some fish species were found to have declined by almost 75 per cent.

Anyone that doesn't believe we are in a human created mass extinction and humans are on the verge of extincting ourselves ... like to argue your delusion?

Where the hell do you get this from, "humans are on the verge of extincting ourselves ".

Humanity's existence is interwoven with the environment we are all reliant on.

The mass extinction occurring will push humans also toward extinction ... and beyond ... on our current path.

Very likely because a mass extinction is not limited to the oceans.
