*Sure....they're anti competitive as any subsidised job is.  It wouldn't be there without the tax payer.  Very damned difficult for a brainwashed collectivist to understand that I know....  (swaggy) *

the most severe drought conditions seen in California in over 1000 years

nothing to see here...move along...dont worry about a thing....let the children fry

(and California alone experiencing these conditions is insufficient to draw conclusions and generate long term trends or assumptions. There are many examples and events which are statistically significant and more importantly, grounded in science and validated by observation and measurement. The so called debate as to whether the globe is warming due to human activities such fossil fuel combustion and de-forestation was settled many decades ago. In fact the last possible causal link between Global Warming and variation in solar irradiance was dismissed in the mid 1980s when the data and trend diverged. Not that any credible scientist took this causal link seriously prior to 1980 as it was a theoretically weak link due to the other more significant driving forces)

We are very much alike - I make everything up - total BS

'In a study published in February in the journal Science Advances, Cook and his colleagues found that the risk of a megadrought this century would rise dramatically if greenhouse gas emissions aren't checked. As a result, though California typically faces droughts that last from one to three years, the state could experience droughts that last several years or even two to four decades, Cook said.'

http://www.livescience.com/50417-california-drought-future.html
Could experience? Two to Three years?

'When California suffered a severe drought from 1985 to 1991, a California company, Sun Belt Water Inc. was established for the purpose importing water from Canada in marine transport vessels formerly used for oil transport and converted to water carriers.'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drought_in_the_United_States

'California's 2014 Water Year, which ended September 30, 2014, was the third driest in 119 years of record.'
