Now, back to gardening.

... and fruit trees.

Growing nasturtiums around apple trees helps repel codling moth ... which fecks up apples pretty hard.

You know the apples in the supermarket with that one raised brown spot? Or the greyish black discolouration around whre the stem should be?

Codling moth.

I never buy apples without a stem mind you ... and never with the mark of codling moth.

Nastutiums (aside from being edible themselves ... flowers look awesome in salads) deter all sorts of bugs .. and trap aphids for the rose growers.

They are companions broccoli, cauliflower, kale. potatoes, pumpkin and a whole bunch of other stuff i can't remember.

Garlic spray is easy to make .. just remember to put some detergent in to make the spray stick to the leaves. Try growing garlic around the plants you are having problems with. Garlic is a piece of piss to grow.
