Aussie, just so you know, the photo she was using is NOT her. It's one she was busted using on Yahoo years back ... among others.

I've seen her real photo and she looks nothing like that.

I can't see how that's got anything to do with the gardening topic.
There is a load of gratuitous slating of each other to the point I could probably suspend everyone.

So I'll take the more lenient view of banning no one but use this post as a line in the sand that this baiting of each other can stop or people will end up on holiday.

Gee.....miraculous.  Water must do very strange things 'up high on a hill.'

And.....on an allotment which slopes down, not only all your gardens went under water...... there was a veritable flood out the back.....so much so you had to pull out all those flowers.

Buggered if I know how they survived all that fierce left right and sideways wind....and a deluge of rain.

It's a miracle!

Could you delete all off topic posts in here? I don't like it when trolls hijack topics.

Thanks.

I suspect that's not why you want them deleted.

I'm a big fan of permaculture myself. I reckon that is the single best solution to world hunger.

I've seen documentaries where absolutely desolate land has been transformed into fertile soil, producing bountiful harvests.

Doesn't need much water either.

A really smart gardening technique.

I'm quite a fan of companion planting too. Works wonders for pest control and optimal yields.

Of course, it is a component of permaculture .. but it stands alone as very clever gardening.

Growing borage with strawberries, for example, can make them big and fat and sweet.

Basil with tomatoes etc.

A really good way to grow potatoes is in a tyre stack filled with pea straw ... you don't need soil.

This way the potatoes come out already clean and with a really nice flavour.

Great for jacket potatoes .. and as we all know, the best nutrients are in and just under the skin.

Stop referring to me when there is no need.

And, people really are interested in your gardening as Andrei (sort of) points out...So how about telling us about all those gardens of yours which were under water on your high up hill block which slopes backwards.

People are genuinely wanting to know.....including me.

I'm also certain that everyone sincerely wants to see those photos of the beans (with the sign addressed to George/Monk) your hubby took which you said you'd post.
