"Who thinks Lisa is a big spunk?"
John does. She wants to meet him but she will have to discuss it with hubby over breakfast this morning.....will he agree or not? tune in for episode 2 tomorrow?
You sound jealous.
Anyway, enough of your never ending bitter and twisted off topic rubbish....be gone!
Back to GARDENING.
I now have all my winter cos lettuces and broccoli planted....65 of the former...15 of the latter.
My potatoes are coming along just fine...the chokos are finishing up though.I only picked half a dozen this morning, I usually pick more

Broad bean plants are vigorous and hardy plants...so they're doing very well. I planted them in 2 stages this year...just to see if I can stagger the yield. I'm aiming for 35 kilos (have a few Greek & Italian rels/neighbours waiting for them)...so I'll be weighing and distributing them in 1 kilo lots and keeping a tally.
Our passion fruit vine looks awesome. We counted some 55 fruit.....all slowly coming through in their various stages of maturity. We've already eaten a few (and given away even more). Have to say, we're pleased (or should that be relieved) that the insides are full of sweet pulp and juice. One of our neighbours had the misfortune of finding the insides of his passion fruit very dry and with a thick inner rind. He's waiting for a few of ours now.
Mothers Day flowers are in full bloom here atm. I'm not into the white and yellow variety (probably because these colours are so common and therefore boring IMO). Anyway, there's lots of blood red, fiery orange and soft pink chrysanthemums out the front and they're just beautiful. Pity, I basically lost all such flowers in our backyard due to the recent Sydney super storms.
Anyway...that's pretty much it for today.
Have a safe Anzac Day everyone.
Garden ruined one day, all better the next.
Do you want some broad beans John? or some choko's for your chickens. Actually, I know who might take the choko's off your hands lisa, aquascoot, he has horses.
Oh yeah! happy gardening and thank ya mother for the chicken.
