Muslims a problem in Denmark
Sep 15th, 2014 at 12:29am

Denmark: Muslims are around 450% more criminal than non-Muslims

Quote:
Men with Muslim first names are convicted of crimes more often than the Danish population as a whole. 1.8% of the population in the last five years have been sentenced in court — but for men with a Muslim first name, the figure is about 8 percent. This is shown by a poll which Dispatch International has done.

The basis for this study is the so-called “namewheel” [database] as the prestigious weekly newsletter Ugebrevet A4 has put out.

If you type a first name, one can obtain a variety of information about individuals that carry this name. Issues such as employment, housing, age, income, and thus how often people with this name have been convicted over the past five years.

Dispatch International has combined “namewheel” with the most common Muslim male names that Denmarks Statistik report each year. We have used statistics from 1 January 2012.

The 20 most common Muslim names in Denmark are: Ali, Mohammad, Mohamed, Ahmad, Mustafa, Ahmed, Mohammed, Ibrahim Mehmet, Mohamad, Hassan, Muhammad, Omar, Abdul, Mahmoud, Ahmet, Hasan, Malik, Yusuf and Hussein.

That last one - whose middle name is that?

Step forward, Mr Prez.

You do know that they are common Arabic names which are not exclusive to Muslims?   I've know an Arab Christian who's first name was "Imbrahim" ("Abraham").

All you're doing is engaging in stereotyping on the basis of people's names.   This is no better than what the Nazis used to do, to Jews.  Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin

You have known an Ibrahim - therefore Mohammed, Ali and Ahmed are not typical Muslim names.
You have serious cognitive impairments, pal.

This is a pretty weak study. It merely works on names and has no examination of causation.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

No, what it does is cast serious doubt on the validity of this experiment in religious profiling.  You seem to think prejudice is acceptable.  You really need to leave your Nazi beliefs behind in Europe.   Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin

Look at Australia for instance, the muslim arabs  have their own crime squad. The Middle Eastern Crime Squad because of the crime rates. Why couldn't it be the same in Denmark??

Maybe you can explain why people belonging to the Muslim faith are over represented in crime stats in many western countries??? We'd all like to know.

What is they say, "correlation does not denote causation"?   The Muslim faith isn't a race, it's adherents from multiple racial groups across the world so how can any alleged criminality be genetic in origin?

The reality is that this is largely cultural in origin, not "racial" or genetic in any way.  There are more Muslims living in Western nations who don't commit crimes than there are those that do.  Time you stopped being bigoted against people just 'cause they practice a faith you are prejudiced against.    Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin
