We get around the restrictions with a dessert made from eggs, cream cheese and a sugar substitute. It's no pav, but it's still pretty good.

Trifles!
And Pavlova.
And Cheescake.
And.....on the cruiseship, I had the most amazing creme brulee....I bought one of those flame thingies to crystalize the sugar on the top of the custard.
It's fun, and tapping on the hard coating and breaking into the custard.

A friend made a pavlova roll recently, it was delish!

I haven't asked for her recipe, so I looked it up online, and heaps of them come up.
It is something different and nifty to the usual pav with cream on top.

And I do love my pavs with crushed minty chocolate on top of the whipped cream.
Might make one tomorrow with minty choc intwined with the cream rolled up.
