Stratos,

I didn't, am not doing, my 'alms before men'.

I was merely pointing out the mistaken presumption accusation, of spot.

You are not doing your alms before men by demonstrating your alms before men?  That just means you fail logic as well as Christian behaviour.

Stratos,

What information did spot ask me to provide ?

He asked you when you last gave to the needy.  And you answered very specifically, against your own Christian doctrine which warns against such things

Oops.

When did YOU last give to the needy?

(It's not for you to question others unless you have lived up to the standards you are measuring them against.)

Yes, friends, the old boy did say this.

In 2014, too.

Maybe you should direct this question towards Yadda, as he supports religious genocide by Christians but apparently not a Muslim giving a poor man his shoes in a time of need?

Also, my point is that his  faith is hypocritical.  I'm glad he donated instead of sold, and frankly I don't care the slightest bit who he tells, but it IS strictly against Christian doctrine which he claims to profess.

Oh, and last Wed, to the flying doctors.

Pastor plays role of poor man, fellow Christians don't help

Pastor Jeremiah Steepek transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning. He walked around his soon to be church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service....only 3 people out of the 7-10,000 people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food... NO ONE in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit in the back. He greeted people to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him.

spot,

Your presumption is mistaken.

It wasn't my shoes, but i gave something this morning, to those less fortunate than myself.

It was a nearly new item which i could have sold, but i decided to donate to my local Red Cross shop.

p.s.
Also, i didn't need to get a photo taken, so i could impress people.

Well good on you. Cant say thats typical for an xtian. BTW if you donate to the red cross some of your donations could help down and out followers of islam! shock horror!

You are such a joke. Your irrational hatred of Christians is actually funny.

We get your position spot. All Christians are evil and all non Christians are the greatest people on earth. Thank you for sharing. Now go play in the traffic and don't miss the trucks.

Grin Good one!

Religion is about ... religion. It's not really about anything else. It's a mind-game that deals in whimsy, fantasy, and fanciful notions about the origins of the universe and how we are all Sinners as a default from the womb.

It doesn't necessarily have the remotest connection to being a good person ~ it just means a person is ... religious ... Has fanciful ideas that would have him sectioned to a padded room if religious belief wasn't so pandemic as a mental illness.

So what we saw here, Waleed, were religious people about to indulge in religious ritual in a place of religious worship for the purpose of propitiating the Gods to bring a good harvest and a mild winter. The occasion for which these people had assembled had nothing to do with the secular business of handing out filthy lucre to bums loitering around the church grounds.

In former times he may have ended up as a sacrifice upon the altar to the Gods.

Maybe even ended up in a large pot as the main course of a religious festival.
