Jolly good, old chap.

I think we're done. Does anyone have anything else to add before we close the case for good?

Let's see - what have we all learned here?

That pedophilia is legal and that having sex with children (which is completely different) should also be legal?

And that Muslims should not take responsibility and tackle the issue head on.

Exactly. Those Moslems should take responsibility for the 94% of non-Muslims.

And couples in underage defacto "marriages" are paedophiles.

Thanks, FD. Anyone else?

Sydney man Yassir Hassan jailed for 12 years over stabbing death of wife Mariam Yousif at Wiley Park

By court reporters Jamelle Wells and Karl Hoerr
Updated Fri 21 Mar 2014, 12:13pm AEDT

A Sydney man has been jailed for up to 12 years over the "vicious and brutal" stabbing death of his wife.

Hassan stabbed his 24-year-old wife Mariam Yousif in bed at their Wiley Park unit in Sydney's south-west in 2012.

.....

Hassan was 45 and his wife was 16 when the pair were married.

Hassan stabbed her at least 14 times then called triple-0 and told the operator “There’s a problem with my wife”.

In cuddly Pakistan, my daughter for a room:

70-year-old groom, 13-year-old bride arrested after marriage

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: A 70-year-old man and his 13-year-old bride were arrested in a raid in Zubair Panhwar village within the remit of the Tharushah police station on Saturday evening. The bride’s father, Nikah registrar and witnesses were also arrested.

Tharushah SHO Aijaz Ali said after receiving information about the marriage of an under-age girl, he along with his team raided the place where the wedding ceremony was in progress. He said the 70-year-old groom, Syed Mohammad Ali Shah, his 13-year-old bride, Sonia Shah, the Nikah registrar, Maulvi Miral Shah, the bride’s father, Syed Mehdi Shah, and witnesses Mumtaz Shah and Khuda Bukhsh Shah were arrested.

Syed Mehdi Shah told the media that he had to agree on the marriage against a sum of Rs100,000. He said he needed the money to meet the expenses of the construction of a room in his small house.

However, the old man said he had paid Rs50,000 to Mehdi Shah to enable him to arrange for dowry, etc. He said it was his third marriage and the two wives lived with him. “Mehdi Shah is my relative and no one had any objection over the third marriage,” he added.

Do Pakistanis change when they leave Pakistan? Or is it more likely that you can take the man out of Pakistan but can't take Pakistan out of the man.

PB - thoughts?
DO they have Pauline turns, to coin a phrase, when they leave all baluchistan behind them at Lawhore airport?

Those are Australian/Zionist lies!

This man is a moslem,       .....and he is virtuous and innocent,    ...but i repeat myself.       Tongue

And a moslem community leader would NEVER, EVER, encourage members of the moslem community to deceive the  police about the prevalence of female genital mutilation in the community.

Whoops!!!!!    Quick, duck down!!!!!     There's another flying pig!!!!

Both the father and husband are being charged. The father's other, younger daughter has been taken away by child services. Interesting that despite approaching the mosque in Newcastle and being rebuked, he still appeared to be confident that he had not committed a crime.

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/man-marries-off-daughter-12-in-islamic-ceremony-bride-believed-sharia-law-override/story-fni0cx12-1229696078122?nk=7e1cca633976ee9d213cf6c669065469

A CHILD bride allegedly married off at 12 was told sharia law “overrides” Australian law, court documents revealed.

In a case that has brought awareness of secret child brides in Australia, the girl’s father and the 26-year-old man she “wed” were charged in February over numerous child sex offences.

Documents that formed part of a successful apprehended violence order application by police at the time against the girl’s “husband” state that the young girl “believed or had been informed that sharia law overrides the Australian law”.

“She stated that together with the accused they had been trying to get him registered as her legal guardian with Centrelink in order to obtain any welfare benefits they could,” the court documents state.

The police allege in the AVO document that the 26-year-old man, who was charged with 25 counts of sexual intercourse with a child, admitted to officers on the day he was arrested that he had had sex with the girl daily since the religious ceremony in the living room of the girl’s Hunter Valley home on January 12.

“When questioned on this he showed no remorse and was confident that in doing this he had committed no crime,” the police documents state. His matter is still before the courts and he is being held at Villawood Detention Centre after his student visa was revoked.

The child and the Lebanese university student met at a mosque through the girl’s 62-year-old father who is a Muslim convert, police alleged.

The girl’s father, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with procuring a child for sex and accessory before the fact to sexual intercourse with a child.

Dressed in a traditional Islamic tunic, the father-of-seven fronted Burwood Local Court yesterday where he was committed to stand trial in the Sydney District Court.

His lawyer Mario Licha said outside court the father would be defending the charges.

The alleged child bride, who is now 13, and her eight-year-old sister remain in the care of the Department of Community Services.

Eman Sharobeem from the Immigrant Women's Health Service, who handles cases of arranged and forced marriages, called for an education campaign to stamp out the practice. Dr Sharobeem said new-immigrant communities were often ignorant of local laws and customs.

That's what you want, PB, a load of ignorant communities, each in its own isolated little cultural hell.  Assimilation is wacist.  Expecting them to learn about and respect and fit into their host culture is intolerably oppressive. The hosts must assimilate to the 'new-immigrant communities'. And we must have  such ignorant 'communities' from 'diverse' cultural backgrounds because... er.... what was the reason again??

Oh yes - rich tapestry, innit. Must have that.

Quite. A load of ignorant communities, each in its own isolated little cultural hell.

All typified by the Opera House, eh?

I blame Utson.
