Oooh VERY nice Smiley

However I drive a Merc these days though (and it's not a bad 4 wheel drive either).

I find the XC90 to be a better drive to be honest and better value for money.

Actually, one of my previous cars was a Lancer. It never broke down. Ever. A very reliable car indeed.

My current car is a gift from hubby to transport us and our babies in. It does the job very well too. We're happy with it.

I've had lots of cars.  Wasted many, many thousands in the process.

The very best was the Volkswagen of the 60s/70s, the most reliable thaing evah.  Bought it second hand.  Ran and ran and ran.  No water needed, bugger all oil.   Put fuel in....and all was well................almost.  Ya did need to keep a weather eye on where they put the battery, which was under the rear seat on the driver's side.....had a tendency to ignite whatever was underneath that seat.  Only happened once with me, and no damage.

You dont need a stereo if you have a Maserati, what a awesome exhaust note.

You dont need to modify a Maserati, they know how to build cars and get everything right.

They have a good sales force.

A colleague of mine was looking at two and asked which was the better investment of the two.

The guy said
"If you want an investment go down the road and buy some shares at Barclays.
This is a good time purchase you won't make or keep money with this buy"

Valid point though.

Anyone wondering which is the better 'investment' in deciding between two Maseratis is in for a disappointment.
