I reckon Bob was telling the truth, 3200 out of 3237 boat people surveyed who flew into Indonesia disposed of their passports before coming to Australia.
A genuine refugee would have no reason to dispose of their passport after flying into Indonesia, if they fly into Indonesia with a passport they could take the cheaper option of flying into Australia over paying outrageous fees to people smugglers.

Of course the leftists will say liberals are liars if they say something that is not true, a bit of a double standard from the leftists IMO.

Rightly so, because the "asylum seekers" are neither bona fide tourists, nor bona fide asylum seekers.

They are moslem economic refugees [without any identified employment skills], who want to enter Australia, and who want to qualify as Australian welfare recipients.

..... i.e. persons who are unlikely to contribute to the 'common-wealth' of Australia.

I have voted Labor in the past when i was young and stupid, we all make mistakes nobody is perfect,i dont vote by party i vote by who deals with issues that concern me

Australia promotes itself as a tourist destination, i call bullshit on not being able to get a tourist visa, perhaps they fail the background check for tourist visas,Mike Tyson and Snoop Dog have difficulty with visas because of criminal convictions in the USA
