I support them 100%, as would most DECENT people, and those who see the reality behind these filthy 'laws'. The only people who need to fear these laws are those with links to criminal bikie gangs such as Bandido's, Finks, etc. It's just another case of if you're not doing anything illegal, you have nothing to worry about. Grow up. Hey Armchair, do you agree that if you have a party of 12 and 3 of them swear, you as the organiser can go to prison and pay a $12,000 fine? No, because that wouldn't happen. But it's nice that you only think of extremes, eh? Really!!! Click here. Quote:But according to the draft bill, a party is a gathering of twelve or more people. And it is considered out-of-control if three people at that party do something like be drunk in a public place, cause excessive noise, unreasonably block the path of a pedestrian, litter in a way that might cause harm to the environment, or use "indecent" language.
The punishment for holding a party that gets out-of-control? A $12,000 fine or a year's jail. In other words, a party host is punished for the actions of party guests. For good measure, the bill allows police to enter property uninvited without a warrant. So you have to go to the most extreme of circumstances to attempt to justify your ridiculous point of view. Thanks for the good laugh!
