Well the problem has been excessive force.

Let's say you did have the right to carry a firearm for self-defense, & were carrying, please define what do you consider the use of excessive force when you believe your life is in danger because a drug crazed crim is holding a big knife on you while demanding money, & you have reason to believe he will probably kill you no matter how much you give him?

I'd be happy that he just has a knife, and not a gun.

As someone who has been on the wrong side of a gun multiple times, I assure you, Im much happier if they have knife.
Of course, they wont have a knife if its easy to get a gun......

Gun,,,,,,,Knife.....if your life is in jeopardy either way, without any realistic recourse, you're defenseless, & at their mercy (which probably won't end mercifully).

As for me, I'd rather slip out my Beretta, give him a quick warning to back off & flee, but if he insists on proceeding, which is highly improbable, but if he did I'd squeeze off 3 quick ones into his center mass without hesitation.

If that's considered excessive, tough, but in the end he won't threaten me or anyone else ever again.

Let the pompous "horse-hairs" have at me....I chose life.....mine rather than his....every time....full stop.

Ozzie doing a review of the Ruger SR 762 semi auto.

Queensland allowed Primary Producers to have semi auto centrefire a few years ago,no mass shootings done despite the fact they broke the 1996 NFA in allowing these firearms, when are other states going to follow and allow Primary Producers to have Category D licences?

The life we have was given to us by a higher power, a power greater than any government on the planet. It was intrusted to us, not government, & it is our responsibility to protect it, not government's.....who can't & won't.

We must begin taking back responsibility for our own protection, & a curse on anyone that tries to stand between.

Just curious how you rationalize acting in a way diametrically opposed to a statement while agreeing with it.

I may be wrong but i don't understand how you can be christian and advocate carrying weapons. Especially for self defense.

There is no part of the bible that says "If he strikes you turn the other cheek. Unless your packing in which case fill that sucker full of holes"

You obviously don't understand the verb to espouse.

Gun control wasn't & isn't for saving lives, it's flat out governmental control over the people governed.

As far as turn the other cheek, you obviously got the wrong guy to test that one on.....come at me....you will test my wrath, not enjoy any shelter from it!

My Creator entrusted my life to me, & I respect His gift by protecting it from harm, by any means I so chose. That is my personal responsibility & obligation, not a responsibility I'd abdicate to government. Wink
