The thing is that the prisons are businesses making money so they want lots of ppl in there. Of course as with any business they dont want the real criminals. . . . .

The media likes to go on about what a cushy lifestyle prison is but thats obviously crapola since the bare minimum is spent so as to not affect profits.

We will never truly know the amount executed or jailed in China because it has no free press. We know how many are executed in the U.S. and how many are jailed because it has exactly the opposite - a free press!

Athos, you will never penetrate MM's brainwashed mind. The world is full of communists and they are all hiding under his/her bed. He's decided that "COMMUNIST" China's rate of imprisonment is greater and there is no way the facts are ever going to change that in his/her brainwashed mind.

I don't think it's too much to ask if China's official statistics are to be believed. I mean, you and your buddies don't trust the US government and the US media, so why not apply that same skepticism to other states?
