Economic experts across the globe are so concerned with the Australian economy now one term tony and arab joe have their grubby hands on the steering wheel that they are predicting that the Aussie dollar will plummet to record lows as the market abandons it like a syphilis infected hooker.

International investors no longer see it as the safe haven it was before the hardliners rose to power in this country

Low Aussie dollar is good, as long as it isn't completely devalued.  Good news for Australian exporters

Not good for inflation...because we import pretty much everything but coal and iron ore ..prices increase as the dollar drops.

GM was always going to leave Australia once one term tony took power.
The Euro is much higher than the Aussie dollar and cars continue to be made and exported from France, Italy and Germany so the excuse that we need a third world currency to export is just lazy economics.
Honda exports cars made in the UK and the Japanese continue to export so claiming that a strong economy along with a strong dollar is a bad thing is just plain stupid.

Well, if exports increase and the job market shows a marked improvement, I won't "bitch", and if the price of fuel goes up to $2 a litre, not a problem to me........
