That’s right, Mistie. 50,000 refugees in 6 years. Just think of how many trips to the doctor they’ve had, it’s unbelievable.

Have you visited a GP lately? You have to ring up, make an appointment and wait to be seen, it’s ridiculous.

I blame the progressives. They’re ruined this country.

I think you should write your PhD on this. You’re guaranteed an A+, you know.

'Asylum seekers' - aintchasickofem? I know I am.

They have contributed bugger all to their own country, they have contributed bugger all to this country - yet people are bellyaching about

• asylum seekers are examined while exhausted, dehydrated and filthy, their clothing “soiled with urine and faeces” because there are no toilets on the boats

• patients are “begging for treatment”

• asylum seekers must queue for up to three hours for medication. Some have to queue four times a day

• antenatal care is unsafe, inadequate and does not comply with Australian standards; there is an ultrasound machine on the island but rarely anyone who knows how to use it

• there is a high risk of depression among children and no effective system for identifying children at risk

• basic medical stocks are low; drugs requested by doctors are not provided

• long delays in transferring patients to mainland hospitals are leading to “risks of life-threatening deterioration”.

Get the bugger outa here.

Talk about starting your life in the new country with an entitlement mentality.

That’s right, old boy. These people are too cheap to get a cabin with an attached bathroom. How common they all are. Fancy dressing like that to pass through customs.

They never wear the appropriate deck attire, and they most certainly don’t dress for dinner.

I have no idea why they let them out of Steerage, it’s appalling.

Julie Bishop didn't actually see any asylum seekers or their accommodation before passing them off as better than mining camps. You know it must be bad when the kings of the deterrence strategy are shying away from how bad it is by trying to mislead the public.

We can't have them lining up for three hours per meal in the sun, that creates a sense of entitlement We can't have them having 500ml of water a day, that'll spoil them We can't give them proper medical treatment, then they'll just be treated like everyone else.
