Animal lovers usually shed a tear watching these rescues even though many of these stories have happy endings. It's the whole animal neglect issue which makes us sad.

My daughter put me onto this Buzz Feed site which has thousands of stories on various forms of humanity. One section is dedicated to animal rescues. This clip isn't as heart wrenching as some of the others, but it is still sad.
