Good old wireless, every time there are a couple clouds in the sky you need to reboot the modem multiple times.

another lie.  you sound like a 15yo with nothing to do an no appreciable experience of anything.

Actually, a good self portrait there longypongy.

I notice no real effort to dispute my figures for FTTN.

I made it $91Bn for FTTH, nearly half of which is the $41Bn of the Strategic Review. That figure does not include the cost of buying, auditing and remediating the copper, does not include the cost of buying, remediating, expanding and upgrading the HFC crap.

With remediation the cost of just FTTN will easily exceed $100Bn, then the cost of the HFC rubbish.

All quite logical. Even reducing the cost of buying and auditing the copper doesn’t help much as remediation will be huge. And it will be huge—just read the extracts of Hansard I posted in this thread.

Christ on crutches, you or the other idiot posted the Tel$tra CEO crapping on about how good the copper is, ready for FTTN! Does that not ring a tiny alarm bell, that Tel$tra is going to gouge and gouge the taxpayer for the copper? Jesus Christ, are you two really so stupid?

you really are a joke.  now you say FFTH can be built for $26B but a REVIEW will cost $41B

keep going.  I hope that by the time of the budget you will be claiming that FTTN will cost $200B or more.  You are almost there.

Remember that local councils will charge $100B for their part as well.  and then there is the charge by Workcover. lets say about $40B.  see how easy it is?  you just make it up as you go along....

if there is one think you have demonstrated beyond doubt it is that you have NO IDEA of what you are talking about. you had wireless which was lousy while most people have little trouble with it.  you get gold-class ADSL and you still complain.

I don't think you tell us much of the truth at all.  no one could be that deluded and be out of the padded room.

And you are a moron studying to be an idiot but making no progress!

Strategic Review—FTTN $41Bn. That does not include the cost of buying, auditing and remediating the copper. Care to hazard an uninformed guess how much that will come to, dear heart?

Its not just that but rather the idiotic statements he casts about as supposed facts.  He is getting worse and worse.  he is closing in on $200B for the FTTN and he thinks FTTH can be had fore a few billion and be installed everywhere by Christmas.

he may be literally craxy.

Judging by the figures you pull out from next to your head, nearly everyone has a better idea than you.

Now you are a lying cretin. Well over $100Bn for FTTN plus HFC. Try disputing individual amounts, if you can.

He's using Wayne Swan economics. Throw around figures that make his ideas look really good and get the next 3 generations to pay for his incompetence.

Your figures are a joke. I've already posted what the minister has said it will cost. You have no idea. You lie and make stuff up.

Straight from the minister who is in charge of the NBN. You should go dribble your rubbish in his and the CEO of NBN Cos ear so they can laugh at you too.

Public funding of $29.5 billion will be required for a Coalition NBN.
Labor currently claims funding of
$44.1 billion
will be required to complete its NBN. But many telecommunications experts believe the existing NBN Co Corporate Plan significantly underestimates the likely cost and duration of Labor’s rollout, which involves running fibre to 12.2 million households and businesses.

The Coalition estimates
Labor’s NBN could cost $94 billion
, based on plausible assumptions that are less optimistic than those in the Corporate Plan about revenue growth, building costs and user take-up. This implies savings from switching to a Coalition NBN could be $64 billion rather than $15 billion.
