It was only when its new avatar was put up, showing a guy with a beard or an ugly woman with facial hair problems

that I realised it was supposed to be a guy

For years, I've believed it to be a female -- a sexually frustrated female on welfare, living in a one room flat somewhere in a Sydney slum, dressed in stuff from the 70s

That's still the mental image wrought by its posts

If it's a guy, there's definitely something wrong
