I stopped watching the series as soon as I detected the trend of good people ---> murdered whilst evil dheads (like King Joffre) ---> allowed to live, prosper and continue making everyone else's life hell. ^^ Makes me angry and annoyed .. even now

He is the best character ( from what I've seen) in the series I reckon.

You can tell that he's done a lot of acting esp theatre work in his life.

sort of like the best parts of braveheart done in a "lord of the rings" type special effect. many of the actors are famous stage performers and shakespeareans, not at all a teeny type show

I bet I'd find most of the dialogue cheesy and full of modern cliches, I'm sure the actors are great though. One of my favourite shows from recent years was Mad Men. Is it even in the same league as that, or is it just slightly above the pop culture reference laden dross that cable networks usually produce, that makes it seem good?
