He's a great player, but is way too conservative, especially from the baseline. He also has the charisma of a dead horse. Djokovic was mentally out of it before the match even begun - Del Potro wrecked him in that semifinal. Glad Wimbledon is over. All the excessive hype was becoming tiresome. USO next month. Thank God.

I don't know why they referred to this Scot as 'British' ~ with the English in the audience going wild with celebration.

It seems very odd to me. The fellow is less 'English' than generational Australians of English ancestry.

It was a win for the Scots, and had nothing to do with the English.

It's the same with 'English' soccer teams. They don't exist any more. There is now no such entity as an English soccer team.

Every 4 years they have the World Cup where each country competes with one another. It has become a travesty over the past 50 years.

The 'England' team is no more 'English' than I'm a Dutchman.

"I understand how much everyone else wanted to see a British winner at Wimbledon, so I hope you guys enjoyed that. I tried my best."

He seems to think he's British.

He's been thoroughly indoctrinated with politically correct nonsense about him being 'British' instead of a Scottish Celt.

It's all part of the Socialist agenda.

If a New Zealander had won Wimbledon would the Australian audience go wild with celebration? Of course not.

The Scots are even on notice now to decide if they want independence from the British Parliament.

There's an elephant in the room, and he's not going away because of a few PC advocates here.

He's no more 'British' than 'John Smith' is Australian.
