I wouldn't go that far.  I like the haka, and think a bit of pcyhological warfare is a good lead in to a bruising encounter.

But you can't allow one team to opnely attempt intimidation, and make the other team bend over and take it.

I suppose it's all part of the show.

I don't agree with the fine against the French, they were simply responding to the challenge.

The ABs are not the only team to issue a challenge before a game, the Samoans, Fijians and Tongans do, too.

Rather than grizzling about it, come up with something of your own. The French could do the cancan, the Irish a jig and the Scots a fling. The Poms could do a scene from Shakespeare....."once more unto the breach, my friends, once more........"

The Wallabies could wheel out a bar and lean on it with schooners of VB in their hands.

It was a bit ridiculous I reckon.

They get the whole of Britain to choose from. Of course they should win.

And not being a rugby union fan, I would've appreciated a few explanations of the rules. The commentators seemed too up themselves to explain anything to the unwashed.

It's little wonder that I have no interest in the sport.

Rugby is the most important game in the world.
Each match is an epic battle that will remain forever in the records of history.
It is rough & violent.
Any normal person would have to be taken off the field
on a stretcher within the first 5 minutes.
It is 30 gorillas wrestling in a giant tag team match.

It compares to the Roman gladiators but hopefully not a sign of decadence?

If population determined success in sport the All Blacks would never win anything.

Australian commentators are the worst in the world.

As for the rules, don't worry. I'm a lifelong fan and I don't always understand them, either.

The rules have got so complicated that I often didn't understand
why the referee called for a scrum or penalty etc.
The commentators often didn't see why either but
didn't admit it for fear of sounding foolish.

And India would have won more than a handful of medals in their entire history.
