Australia is an immigration country. Both you and me are immigration or the close progeny of immigration.

And you are wrong, religion/culture tolerance is not only in "western countries". You can live in your own culture in Singapore, Hongkong region, Taiwan region or even in mainland China. When western countries were burning heretics, all different religions were spreading in China. From the political aspect, China is an authoritarian country. But Chinese people don't force you to change your culture.

You can ask the white people living in China. Is there anybody force them to change their culture?

This attitude that it is ok for you to come to our country and preserve your cultural identity at the cost of our own culture is what pisses people off. You only have to look at Europe to see the end result of multiculturalism. White Australians are getting sick of foreigners coming here and telling us that we don't have our own culture. We do, and we are sick of people like you coming here and telling us that we don't. We are also sick of people like you demanding respect for your culture while showing nothing but disrespect towards ours. You come here and then claim that you can tell us how our nation will be run and that we don't get a say.

Again, it is people like you that creates the racial tension. It is nothing more than the psychological equivalent of; every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The more pro Chinese you are, the more pro white Australian attitude you are going to get back.

Let us imagine, if the extreme Muslims kill all others or drive all others away including you and me to practice Islam law in Australia. Then they claim, Australia is a Muslim country. What do you think? That's what exactly the white intruders did.

The culture diversify and enriching of culture is a continue process. But this process should not be by force and slaughter.

I came to Australia. I diversified and enriched the culture of Australia too. But I came here in peace by an equal deal. It's the difference between me and the white intruders.

I am not a racist. I can live with white people without any problem if they do not force me to change my culture. And I never force others to change their own culture.

But, none of this can be the reason that forcing others to change their culture if they are living in peace.

If they are not living in peace, the law should stop them no matter if they are white racists or extreme Muslims. And this is not against the Multiculturalism. This is the protection to the Multicultural society.

Well, I think we've managed quite well bringing other repressive cultures such as Christianity, Communism, Naziism, etc. and we've all managed to accept one another. Plenty of ex-Nazis, ex-Communists have migrated to Australia and the place is absolutely covered in Christians! Cheesy

In the history, Christians killed many people only because the different belief. From the aspect of culture, I don't think there is essential difference between Christians and Muslims. Both of them believe their god is the only real god. And all others are wrong. Both of them, at least part of them want to sacrifice or want others to sacrifice for their god.

Why English people go to America? Because the king of British could not give them liberty.

Australia is a new world for everybody. And I made an equal deal with the government of Australia. Australia need my skills and technology, I need the liberty and human rights. And the government of Australia told me Australia is a secular country with　multicultural society. The freedom of religion will be respected.
